Maui Homestay and Room Rentals:

Halenani O Maui - Events (Located on Maui) was founded in 1996 to provide a rich cultural experience for international and mainland students visiting short-term, or studying long term on Maui. Recently, Halenani O Maui - Events has placed visiting groups from Koriyama Womens University, Den En Chofu University, the Fukuyama Chamber of Commerce, and the Kure National Institute of Technology. Hale O Maui - Events has also established strong ties with the Maui Language Institute, a full time English as a Second Language (ESL) program located at UH - Maui. In homestays, students have the opportunity to learn about the culture of Maui first hand through participating in family events, excursions and cultural activities. Room rentals are also available.

Hawaii Homestay (Located on O’ahu) Hawaii Homestay is an educational organization established in 1982 to create opportunities for international students and island families to share their culture and life experiences in host homes. For more than 22 years, we have developed strong ties into the community with host families, agencies and English as a Second Language (ESL) schools on the islands of Oahu, Maui, and Hawaii. We have cooperated with them to give students and visitors well coordinated opportunities to develop their English skills and assimilate our culture and for host families to broaden their understanding and appreciation of other cultures as well.
